Interesting camouflage on this moth. On tree bark you'd have a
hard time seeing it.

The leaders in last weekend's Tour De Yorkshire after leaving
Beverley and heading towards Lund. Very enjoyable being able
to see the race.

Thompson's Gallery

Opening tomorrow April 8th at Thompson's Gallery, New
Cavendish Street, London...exhibition of British Landscape.
I have three paintings in the show including this one...
'Winter Walk'.

both of these photos were taken in the garden within minutes
of each other yet are totally different. It demonstrates how
many worlds exist within our gardens at any one time and
perhaps that's one reason why so many people enjoy gardening.

Whilst this old building is being worked on there is a
photographic print of the building attached to the scaffolding.
I'm always fascinated by these prints...how big is the printer?

Haven't seen an old style WHO fan for years. This chap was
in Glasgow's Central Station.

Old Vauxhall

Found this beauty in a supermarket car park in Dalry. I was
admiring it when a couple came up and asked if they could
sit in it for a photo as it was the wife's birthday. I laughed
and told them it wasn't my car. Mind you...I could have
charged them a fiver and hoped the owner wouldn't turn
up whilst I took the photo.

The circular wall that Chris Machin is building in the park is
coming on really well. Wonder what he's doing with all that
left over stone...I need a wall.

Carlo Petrini

Visit to the Dunlop Dairy by Carlo Petrini the founder of the
Slow Food movement which is now in over 170 countries.

Lovely old set of lino cutting tools I was
given this morning. Really like the graphics.

This small branch broke away in the January storm and is caught
in other branches. It creates a swing for the birds and they love it.

The Jerram Gallery exhibition.

Another two paintings which will be heading to Sherborne
for the exhibition in April. Both in Greece in the town of Limni
in Evvia.
