Just a few minutes by boat from Reykjavik harbour the
magnificence of Iceland surrounds you.

Sorry everyone...been away in Iceland and Cape Cod. Back now
to the Commonwealth Games here in Glasgow in a heatwave.
The city is looking great.

Bees

I do like to see bees in the garden. Last year was a bad year for bees,
we had hardly any which was a little worrying. This year the numbers
are up. Not as good as it should be but not bad.

Hutcheson's Grammar School has it's annual Art
Exhibition on at the moment. As ever, it is a very
good show. They run a terrific art department there.

In the cold light of day the damage at the Art School is a little
sobering. It's going to take quite a while to get the place back into
shape.

Things are looking good for the annual exhibition of the Paisley
Art Institute in Paisley Museum & Art Galleries. Opens May
16th.
