It's on Rannoch Moor...a haven in the wilderness. More photos

'Slow Food'

A 'Slow Food' event in the village hall last night. Local food
producers were the focus and the meal celebrated the fine
food and wine available in Ayrshire. A good time was had by all.

Group 13 is a group of 12 (it was 13, one left) and have a show
every two years. There is always a theme. Last time it was
Glasgow Haiku and each artist had to do a painting and write
a haiku about Glasgow. This time we looked at the works of
TS Eliot. Each of us did two paintings.
The exhibition opened on Saturday at the Union Gallery,
45 Broughton Street, Edinburgh.
The bottom photograph is of Annette Edgar, Adam Kennedy
and Katie Pope...all great artists.

First of the year

I'd forgotten about these bulbs sitting in a bucket in the
greenhouse. Rather nice. Think I'll forget about them
next year as well.
