On the way to visit friends in Alloa we stopped off at the Falkirk Wheel. Quite a fantastic piece of engineering. Enjoyed it more than I thought we would.
Last checks before the winter. The honey bees are fed a syrup mixture throughout the winter months. These pictures were taken moments before the bees decided to attack my friend Jim who was standing some distance behind me. No-one is quite sure why.
Had lunch at Nardini's in Largs. It's been refurbished and re-opened and it's fabulous. Just one question. Whatever happened to those fabulous light fittings which were for me the high point of every visit. Does anyone know? Can I get hold of one?
